Shipping Terms

Conditions for sending your parcels to Germany and Europe-wide:

PaketGo serves as a shipping service provider for your packages from Mallorca to Germany and also to other European member countries. By means of a freight forwarder, PaketGo will transport your parcels from Mallorca to Germany at least once a week as additional loads with other parcels. All parcels are sufficiently stamped while still in Mallorca and provided with the details of the consignor. The acceptance points do not have any parcel labels and are also not authorized to write the posting details on the parcel. In Germany, cooperating parcel services then take over the delivered parcels and transport them to the recipient. Each of your parcels is insured under the respective insurance statutes of the parcel service with a value of €500.00.

PaketGo reserves the right to exclude individual packages from transport if they do not meet the shipping conditions.

We reserve the right to combine individual packages to one and the same recipient into one shipment if this does not result in any restrictions on the original packages. In such cases, of course, the customer incurs additional costs in addition to the original package size.

The consignor should note the following:

Parcels GO normally only sends rectangular shipments packed in cardboard boxes with a maximum size of 180cm (calculated from the sum of the longest and shortest side, whereby the longest side may not be more than 120cm). Packages that deviate from this standard must be agreed and calculated separately with PaketGO.

Each consignment that is submitted to PaketGO for dispatch requires a full address from the recipient and the sender's details from the courier with a callback number and/or an e-mail address from the courier. In the case of used packaging, all other or misleading information or address data must be removed.

The consignor is obliged to pack each shipment securely according to the size, content and type of shipment in order to rule out any possible damage during transport and to protect the goods from loss or damage. In addition to normal packaging, there is also appropriate outer packaging, which is suitable inner packaging and a secure closure for safety.

A separate outer packaging must offer sufficient protection for the inner packaging and packaged items must be supplemented with sufficient fillers before they fall out or loose contents so as not to damage other shipments and/or your own shipment. The consignor of the consignment must ensure that the packaging of transport-sensitive items is tailored to the particular sensitivity in order to have taken into account the nature, quantity and every special feature of the respective content in the individual case. The consignor must protect the contents with suitable inner packaging and, if necessary, with suitable outer packaging against normal transport stresses (e.g. shock, fall, vibration, pressure or temperature influences) safely and adequately -136bad5cf58d_

During transport, the packaging and the contents must be protected from normal stress caused by sorting systems and mechanical handling (height of fall on edges, corners or sides from 80 cm) and different climatic conditions from the mailer. Each shipment must be packaged in such a way that the contents cannot be accessed without leaving traces. PaketGO must check each shipment to ensure that individual shipments meet the requirements and reserves the right to refuse transport. PaketGO is not liable for damage in connection with the transport of shipments that do not meet the conditions.

Outer packaging must be large enough for the entire contents and the necessary inner packaging, so that the outer packaging is sufficiently strong and pressure-resistant for transport. The outer packaging must not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the value or the type of goods.

The contents must be fixed in each inner packaging and in each outer packaging and be sufficiently padded if there are several pieces of content. Goods that require additional packaging measures (e.g. molded foam) as transport packaging when shipped individually are excluded from transport without this.

In order to seal a shipment securely, resistant materials (e.g. self-adhesive, tear-resistant plastic packaging tapes or fibre-reinforced wet adhesive tapes) that guarantee that the shipment is held together must be used. For shipments with a higher weight, the closure must be made more resistant to ensure cohesion. All closures and/or packaging must be free of corners, edges or points such as protruding staples, nails, splinters of wood or ends of wire. The transported goods must be completely enclosed with the entire packaging.

If, in individual cases, externally recognizable damage is visible, then report this directly to the deliverer upon delivery. In this case, the deliverer is obliged to hand over a damage notification card, which must then be filled out and sent directly to the delivery company.

For damage that is only discovered after delivery, there is a reporting period of 3 days from delivery. In this case, please contact us with the following information.

  • Your consignment or order number as well as the sender and recipient address

  • Information on the content of the shipment and the type of damage

  • a description of the inner and outer packaging used as well as information on damage to the packaging (photo proof)

  • the original purchase invoice

  • The damage report card issued by the deliverer, if available

In this case, we also need the bank details of the consignor, the postal address and an e-mail address for a possible settlement, because you will receive further information with a description of the further procedure after the damage report. For parcels, the maximum liability is €500.00 per shipment.

PaketGO can store shipments that cannot be delivered for a maximum of 4 weeks and will be destroyed or recycled after this time.
