SHIPPING WITH PAKETEGO

You should use a box that is as rectangular as possible, and you have removed all old stickers from used boxes beforehand so that there are no misunderstandings during delivery. Pack the items shatterproof and in such a way that the shipment can reach the recipient without any defects (* see also our shipping conditions).

 

All sender and recipient data must then be clearly stated on the package or on a white sheet on the package. A telephone number and email address must be included for any queries. The tracking number will then be sent to this email address for tracking purposes and the delivery will be announced on the day of delivery with a time window. Therefore, delivery to a PO Box or to a Packstation is not possible.

your shipment

There are selected parcel stations throughout the island, which we have carefully selected to guarantee you the best possible security where you can drop off your parcel. Under certain circumstances and if you inform PacketeGO in good time, collection from your home, office or local hotel is also possible (see our contract terms for more information). We charge an additional fee for private collection on site for individual packages (under package class M). PaketGo takes care of everything else from picking up the shipment, such as providing the shipment with the necessary postage label, insured shipping (maximum €500.00), cooperation with the parcel service in Germany and Europe. If a sender sends several shipments to a recipient at the same time, PaketGO can combine them into one shipment if this does not result in any restrictions for the original packages. This does not result in any further costs for the sender or recipient.

Your parcels should be ready for collection at our parcel stations or at the collection address by Monday evening at the latest, as we at PaketGO usually collect the parcels for the forwarding company on Tuesdays. There is no guarantee of a pick-up time after Monday evening. On the following day, we will provide your shipment with the shipping company's postage labels and pack it as groupage goods ready for shipping and shrink-wrap protective film. On the same evening, the entire consignment then goes by truck onto the ferry and towards the recipient. In Germany, the truck is unloaded immediately on the day of arrival and the German parcel service receives your shipment on the same day. As soon as the parcel service has scanned the shipment, you will be informed at the email address provided and will also receive the tracking number from the forwarding agent there, so that you can follow up on the package. On the day of delivery, you will also receive information about the delivery time at this email address. As a rule, the packages are delivered in the same week, but no later than the following week.

If you have any questions about the process, we are always at your disposal, because we process all shipments ourselves, so we can offer you the greatest possible security.  

 

costs for delivery

When dropping off or picking up, the entire payment including taxes is made in cash at the acceptance point or when picking up the item directly. No credit payments or other payment methods are accepted or have to be clarified separately with major customers in direct collection on site. A receipt for your consignment will be issued to you at all collection points and also for direct collection. We will also be happy to issue you with an invoice. You then send us the necessary data and the receipt so that we can then automatically send you the invoice by e-mail.   

 

Recipient not reachable

If the recipient cannot be reached on the day of delivery, the deliverer will inform him that he can pick up his shipment at the next packing station of the parcel service within the next 7 days. After the period has expired, the shipment will be returned, where additional costs will then be incurred for which the sender must be liable.

 

 

Recipient refuses to accept

If the recipient refuses to accept the shipment, the shipment will be returned to our German PaketGO address, which we will then inform the sender of and the shipment will then be delivered again or sent back, depending on your wishes. Costs arising from this will be charged to the sender in advance.    

 

 

returns

Our German address is also given as the sender on every shipment for any returns and forwardings that may occur. Of course, if you wish, we can also include your Mallorca address on the package.
